Technology and Infrastructure are also vital ingredients in the string of progression and innovation of the students and hence it has always been given due deliberation at JPS Jaora. Adhering to CBSE bye laws, the school has proper facilities like ramps, toilets for wheel chair users and the differently abled students to ensure barrier free environment in the school building. High flow water purifiers are installed on all the floors for the supply of clean drinking water.
The entire school building is included, without limitation, to cover the school structures that shall meet the demand of fire safety.
Visible from the classrooms also are dedicated green spaces, as well as a garden and playing field. Moreover, the Arts & Crafts room, Science Labs, Mathematics Lab, Computer Labs, Activity Arena, Multimedia Room and Performance Centres are provided for the betterment of the students, along with facilities for indoor games.
SPECIAL PREPRIMARY BLOCK
The campus has been designed specifically to meet the requirements of children of classes Nursery and Prep who belong to age group of 2 1⁄2 years to 5 1⁄2 years. TRANSPORT FACILITY
The school has a fleet of outsourced 11 buses and 1 LMVs, to commute students & staff to and from their residences. The Transport Service (optional) is operated by the school and a separate transport fee is charged for this. For supervision and monitoring a transport attendant is on board throughout the journey. Mobile phones have been provided in each bus that ensures efficiency in terms of service and better communication in case of emergencies. As per the Supreme Court guidelines, the facility of first aid box, camera, four kgs fire extinguisher, water kettle of 20 liters are invariably present in all the school buses. All the school buses are fitted with speed governors.
COMPUTER LABORATORY
The school’s computer and communication facilities provide state-of-the-art equipment and broadband internet connectivity. Aside from two well-equipped Computer Labs, the Learning Centre provides IT services for use in projects and research assignments.
SCIENCE LABORATORIES
Fully equipped laboratories for Physics, Biology and Chemistry each offer the students the chance to apply their theoretical knowledge in a practical context, in groups and individually. This exposure to a research environment allows the possibility for students nurture a scientific interest.
LIBRARY
Holding almost 16,000 books on a wide variety of subjects, the JPS library is an invaluable storehouse of knowledge and a worthy resource for the growth of our students. From an early age, pupils are encouraged to cultivate their reading skills, and to use the space as a secure centre for learning and self-improvement. We also here provide electronic resources – with an Audio and Video CD section – to make the learning process more exciting. Students are able to hone their research and critical thinking skills and Internet Zone permits students keep themselves up to date with international news as well as the world around them.
Personality Development
Personality Development classes are conducted for children of classes I to IX. These classes are aimed at grooming young girls and boys for manners and etiquettes, with a stress on value-based development of their personality. The curriculum designed for these classes takes into account two major aspects, which are, inculcating right values and the conventional rules of social behavior i.e. manners and etiquettes. The methodology consists of interactive sessions in a specially equipped laboratory for the purpose. Children are introduced to a variety of social and familiar situations and motivated to react. They are then guided towards the right directions and conclusions. Growing girls and boys are thus expected to develop the right kind of finesse, confidence, and humility to become complete and good human beings
Medical Facility (Hospital in school)
An airy, well ventilated, well kept room with beds and basic medical facilities. The informative charts and poster on the walls describing the importance of healthy body welcome the little patients. A full time qualified nurse and a pediatrician are present to help the students in pain and distress during the school time. The clinic can handle situations by providing immediate relief in the form of first-aid. Apart from this it also conducts regular medical check up of the students and maintains health cards.
LANGUAGE LAB
For making English an indivisible part of student’s life and providing a global exposure, th lab is fully equipped with recorders and phones for self-directed learning
DIGITAL CLASS-ROOM
The school uses many techniques to teach and guide the students. Books provide them knowledge but for making that knowledge more effective and fruitful, JPS decided to use Smart Class System. This helps students to learn ad by-heart
all the things easily. It makes the studies more interesting for students.
A Revolution in education is Smart Class System, where along with the theoretical and practical knowledge students can see examples, understand concept by means of audio and visual media simultaneously when the chapters are explained,
having many modules on every topic of respective subjects according to the classes.

studies and pay more attention.
SPORTS
At JPS Jaora we attach a significant value to Sports activities as we believe that agile mind and a sturdy physique is an outcome of indulgence in Sports. Besides, Sports help in building a healthy team spirit. Team sports prepares a child to the method of performing in a group and for individual sports the school grooms and trains a student to learn and participate. Splendid sporting facilities abound which include cricket, football, volleyball, hand ball, kho-kho, basketball court, a sports complex which includes a table tennis room, karate and yoga corner, badminton court and all facilities for indoor games. There is a provision for sports activities for students of all age groups. We have the qualified coaches to teach the students, the various rules, skills and techniques required for mastering various games. The students are helped in acquiring the art of competing with the opposition with skill and good sportsmanship.
CREATIVE & PERFORMING ARTS – PAINTING, MUSIC & MORE…
Our students relish the opportunity to vaunt their artistic skills in the Art room, following the path of self expression as far as their imaginations will take them. A number of mediums are available for this gracious pursuit, including clay modelling, painting, and drawing and craft activities. Further to this, an appreciation and an ear for music are cultivated in the music rooms, which are equipped with a wide range of modern and traditional musical instruments. The children get a taste of fine Hindustani classical as well as Western classical during their music lessons. The Dance rooms are fitted with large mirrors to enable the students to view themselves while practicing new steps with finesse. This learning facility provides an excellent opportunity to the student to explore creativity and at the same time also rejuvenate his mind.
ATAL TINKERING LAB
The school has established ATL in 2020 with the grant-in-aid received from the central government. ATL is an approach of Niti Aayog of India to create an environment of scientific temperament, innovation, creativity amongst Indian Students. It is a step towards a new India wherein it will not only facilitate the innovators from its own premises, shall also invite the neighbouring schools to inspect, invent and innovate.
Extra Curricular Activity
Our school is also taking care of Co-curricular activities on regular basis so as to provide full all
round development of a child apart from academic progress. These activities cover a variety of events and competitions for all age groups. The activities are designed keeping in mind. It doesn’t
disturb normal studies and also keep the students fresh and stress free.
